When most people think of a cruise they think of ocean cruises. River cruises are very different but not to be ruled out by any means. The main areas these vessels travel are Asia, and Europe amongst various rivers. They are in a general sense more luxurious, as they include food, alcohol and a shore excursion at each port in the price. The ships do not have inside cabins, only outside balconies/verandas — so you always have a view of the passing scenery.
